Anyone who has eaten here once comes back. You can't beat it when it comes to price performance. The schnitzel plate in particular is worth a visit

The Rupsteak was very tough and I had to cut some of the steak away (gristly, sinewy and thick bacon rinds). When I asked about a steak knife, the innkeeper replied that I just had to saw properly !! I found that rude and unfriendly. But the meat was also very difficult to cut with the steak knife. Then in the evening violent stomach cramps, the meat was probably of inferior quality. I will not come back again.

Delicious food every time, nice boss and nice and capable waitresses. We recommend!

Saturday evening a table for 8 people. I shared a tarte flambée with the others as a starter. The main course is a veal schnitzel but the children's portion. Finally, pancakes with applesauce and I have to say it was just delicious. We look forward to the next time

We were happy and often guests. Unfortunately the service has deteriorated significantly. The innkeeper (his motto: I am the king) arrogant and rude. He doesn't care whether we keep coming or not. Well, we definitely won't come anymore

As always, delicious food. Very nice staff. Prices very good. It was a pleasure. Easily accessible on foot from the motorhome parking space.

Unfortunately we didn't reach anyone for over 30 minutes. It is manned all the time, as if someone had hung up the phone. We think that's a shame, we were always happy to be there, but lately you have been dismissed in an unfriendly manner if you haven't made a reservation and if you want to make a reservation, you can't reach anyone. An email address is given on the homepage, but unfortunately there was no response to my email.

When I have cravings for "Schniposa", I / we only go there to satisfy our cravings. Because the price / performance principle is right there. To be more precise, it even exceeds this and we like it very much! The garden outside - very cozy. Although this is laid out on a "main road", the traffic does not actually disturb due to the planting, or only hardly. I would like to mention only one shortcoming at this point: The location inside is very gloomy. I find that a bit overwhelming / difficult in the anyway drab winter months. Still, I like to give 5 * because everything else is right.

Not recommendable!!! Staff or host very unfriendly. Quality of the food mediocre. Here only quantity counts instead of quality and the prices are too high for that. They probably throw away 1 tonne of groceries a week as the portions are way too big. Not up to date anymore. In addition, you have the feeling of being perceived not as a guest but as a disruptive factor. Not recommendable!!!!

Friendly, helpful, impeccable taste and the prices are more than fair. Ordering a children's portion should fill almost everyone, the normal portions do not leave anyone hungry.

Been there for the first time & pleasantly surprised. The service was very friendly, the portions huge, no long waiting times, humane prices. We'd love to come back ? Large selection even for veggies.

Relaxed people of all ages, super large portions (it is best to take the children's portion) and affordable prices. The terrace is particularly recommended. In Corona times I find it harder to eat. But here you respect each other and give your fellow human beings their space. You even forget the current pandemic.

When I arrived I didn't have a mask with me because I was visiting. My wife with a mask in and asked what could be done. She came back with a loan mask. We (5 people) sat alone in the restaurant. The boss came and said we could sit down straight away, a table would be free. Very attentive. The portions are awesome. I knew that the schnitzels were very large and therefore only ordered one beef steak. The salad with it was almost ready to eat. The steak was a struggle for me. I estimate it to be 300-350 grams. Plus fries for 2 and that for less than € 16. Highly recommended, even if I make the mistake that everything will be occupied the next time I visit.

Good food

The portions are so large, that as an adult good and eager to eat a children's portion and more than enough. The salad is very appetizingly prepared and the dressing tastes great, not a zero-fifteen from the bag. Everything tastes more than delicious !!! Absolutely to suggest!!!

Schnitzel - paradise. Incredible portions, best quality and taste. So, and that's exactly how I know the classic economies of my youth! I will come again and again. Most certainly.

Lovely and simple place. We brought our 9 month old daughter and were treated like royalty. The food is good traditional German food, the service is top notch and that's cheap. Great experience for us adults and our daughter.

We were 2 days ago and it was good, go we back again , this time they wake it burn black like stone....

Best traditional Schnitzel in town. I'm not anymore living in emmendingen, but I still love the unchanged great food here. Great Schnitzel, nice pommes, fantastic salad dressing and on top of this fair price with large portions!
